National Day of Civic Hacking '14

The ExCITe Center at Drexel University, May 31, 2014

This May you can take part once again in National Day of Civic Hacking. This national hackathon is an opportunity for individuals from all fields to collaborate in an effort to improve local communities and the governments that serve them. Communities will be be provided with challenges regarding local issues to serve as guidelines, in addition to meaningful datasets and various other resources. The theme for the local even is #hack4access.

As part of this year's National Day of Civic Hacking event organized by Philly at First Round Capital, #hack4access will focus on aging and disability issues in partnership with the Philadelphia Link, which is co-organizing and sponsoring the event. Festivities kickoff Friday, May 30th with a planning session at 4040 Locust Street, 6pm.
