Digital Inclusion Group

AFEL West Philly

The Digital Inclusion Group (DIG) is a collection of projects within the Office of University and Community Partnerships that focuses on efforts tied to community improvements facilitated by technology. As part of Drexel’s greater mission to be the most civically engaged university in the United States, DIG uses an innovative approach to community development and local engagement. At ExCITe, it is part of our mission to contribute to the local fabric of Philadelphia. By housing civic organizations, ExCITe can continue to use it’s resources to support our Drexel, Mantua/Powelton, and greater Philadelphia communities. DIG projects focus on the issues that our West Philadelphia neighborhood face, including workforce development with Digital on Ramps (DIG) and early childhood learning with West Philadelphia Early Action Learning.
