Bio:

Chelsea Knittel is a senior undergraduate student in the Custom Major Program. Through this program, she has developed a unique curriculum to fit her areas of interest. Her specific major is designed to gain a better understanding of the materials we build and design with, and what effects they have both short, and long term. In addition, it is also focused on the human element of sustainability and the way that people perceive and react to the various environmental issues we face.

Chelsea is currently working in the Shima Seiki Haute Technology Lab at the ExCITe Center. This experience has given her the oppourtunity to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment, where research and problem solving are the keys to success.
