Pennoni Women's Week
Monday, Feb. 27.-Friday, March 3
Celebrate women during Pennoni Women’s Week! Join us in Bentley Hall for week-long activities including a post-it conversation about the women in your life and a donation drive for menstrual & personal care supplies. Stop by the 1st floor lobby on Wednesday, March 1, from 3-5 p.m. to make a Women’s Week button and follow @drexelUREP on Instagram to learn about women-centered student orgs.
Women's History Month Panel Discussion: Honoring the Legacy of Katherine Johnson
Monday, March 6, 4-5:30 p.m.
In this inaugural event of the President’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Speaker Series, Drexel University will honor the legacy of pioneering African American NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson, whose critical contributions to the success of the U.S. space program, from Alan Shepard’s suborbital Mercury flight to Apollo missions to the Moon and the first space shuttle missions, were featured in the award-winning film "Hidden Figures" and inspired a generation of women and people of color to become today’s leaders in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The panel discussion, which is open to the public, will be held in Behrakis Grand Hall, Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut streets), with light refreshments to follow. A Conversation with Angela V. Harris – Embrace Equity: The State of Women in Tech and How to Empower Yourself for Longevity
Tuesday, March 14, 4-5 p.m.
The College of Computing & Informatics (CCI), the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council, Doctoral Students Association (DSA), along with Drexel Women in Computing Society (WiCS) are proud to host a special International Women’s Day (IWD) inspired conversation with Angela V. Harris. This event will focus on the themes of "embracing equity" and "the state of women in tech." The conversation will be hosted by CCI Associate Professor Michelle Rogers, PhD, who is a leader at Drexel on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion with a particular focus on women in technology. Joining Dr. Rogers is alumna Angela V. Harris, a collaborative Leadership Coach, Technology Leader, and Philanthropist with more than 20 years of business experience in Fortune 500 companies. A Catalyst for the Cause: Fostering Greater Equity in Sport

Drexel’s Department of Sport Business is proud to introduce The Big Business of Women’s Sports. This year’s conference aims to solidify the value proposition of investing in women’s sports while still recognizing the obstacles that exist. Current trends, changing consumer habits and future growth opportunities will be discussed. This theme aligns with the LeBow College of Business’ strategic plan to advance a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) by promoting and sustaining a vibrant and inclusive environment.

Join Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business for the second annual Inclusive Impact Day, Highlighting Women Thriving in Male-dominated Industries. Drexel LeBow is deeply committed to advancing and creating engaging opportunities for women to excel in business. This year’s Inclusive Impact Day is an opportunity for women to come together to share their expertise and experiences, and to empower our community, students and alumni with the confidence to succeed in a global workforce. The event will feature keynote speakers Diane DeCesare ’85 , tax partner, Armanino LLP; and Jane Scacetti, of counsel, Armanino LLP.
