Biography
Carole Mablekos, PhD, has taught for the Engineering Management Program since 1998 and is the Course Developer of EGMT 504 Managerial Communications. She has been affiliated with Drexel University since the early 1980s, teaching public speaking, technical writing, organizational behavior, and business writing courses. Previously, she was the project manager for PRIDE, an NSF program for retraining in engineering and technology careers and for developing innovative educational approaches, such as distance learning. She has also served as a consultant to the IEEE Educational Activities Board on accreditation.
Dr. Mablekos is the author of multiple books on effective communication, including Getting It Across: A Guide to Good Presentations, Presentations That Work, and Technical Writing and Communication.
