Biography

Professor Adriana M. Gil Matos is a section leader for EGMT 462: Introduction to Engineering Management and for EGMT 501: Engineering Management I. She is an active mentor in the Peer Mentoring Program for Engineering Management & Systems Engineering students.

In addition to her Drexel University roles, she is an engineer in the Machinery, Logistics, & Ship Integrity Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, U.S. Navy. Her work focuses on Department of Defense engineering contracts & acquisition, and chemical engineering for hull, mechanical, and electrical related programs.

Professor Gil Matos is a Drexel alumnus, graduating with a M.S. Engineering Management in 2014. She has held several engineering and internship positions with Environmental Resources Management (ERM), National Science Foundation (NSF), and Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. She is also active with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AiCHE).
