Message from the Director

Welcome to the Engineering Management program at Drexel. We were founded in 1959 as the first such graduate degree in the nation, and to this day we strive to be a world class leader. With our goal of developing tomorrow’s engineering leaders through our strong relationships with industry, the program has seen steady growth and remarkable success.

The curriculum develops and refines the technical, business, and leadership skills that engineers and managers need to compete successfully in the global marketplace. Engineers within many industries can turn to Drexel when ready to expand their technical competence and business acumen. Our students develop innovative strategies for applying both technology and leadership skills to solve complex interdisciplinary problems, and our graduates have proven success in their fields.

Taught by a team of dedicated engineering leaders and entrepreneurs, our courses benefit from their extensive real world experience. Our faculty has high-level management experience in companies such as Lockheed Martin, NAVSEA, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, DuPont and Met-Pro Corporation. They have excelled in the careers to which our students aspire, thereby giving the program a current, real-world component.

MS Engineering Management courses can be delivered either face-to-face or online. Either way, you will experience our High Engagement Classrooms, which emphasize group work, analyzing real world systems, using industry-standard tools, and direct conversations with your classmates and professor. These courses are designed for busy professionals and allow for a flexible learning schedule with 24/7 technical support.

I can attest to the advantages the MS Engineering Management degree provided my career. If you are interested in learning more about Engineering Management and our recent successes, please review the materials on our website or contact us directly.

I hope you decide to accept the challenge.
