A Successful Doughnuts with the Dean

Drexel Construction Management Teams Win First and Second Place at Competition
November 08, 2016
Two teams of students from the Drexel University Construction Management Program traveled to Albany, NY on October 27-29th to participate in the Region 1 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) competition. They returned with a first place finish in the Commercial Building competition out of 12 teams and a second place finish in Heavy/Civil competition out of 10 teams, continuing the era of Drexel dominance at the competition.

U.S. News and World Report Ranks Drexel’s College of Engineering among Best Graduate Online Programs

The College of Engineering has again climbed in the 2016 U.S. News and World Report rankings. Drexel is ranked 24th in the nation in the “Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs,” up 5 places from the previous year. These are the highest rankings ever received for the College of Engineering’s online graduate programs and mark the 4th consecutive year that the online graduate programs have been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as among the best in the country.

ASC 2014 Competition Teams

The Drexel University Construction Management Program is pleased to announce the Teams for the Associated Schools of Construction - ASC Region 1 Competition in November 2014. Drexel CMGT is fielding a team of six each in the Commercial Building Construction and Heavy Construction Divisions. Team selection was based on academic performance criteria and the student’s demonstrated commitment to excellence.

The emphasis in the survey's methodology was slightly different this year, giving more weight to student engagement, faculty credentials and training and student services and technology over peer reputation and admissions selectivity.
