ENGR 103 - Engineering Design III
In the prior terms, students were given increasing responsibility for project decision-making. The Engineering Design III course is the culmination of the freshman design sequence. Students make the primary decisions to solve an engineering problem and create a prototype.
Students choose from existing projects proposed by faculty and graduate teaching fellows or propose their own. Each group, of three to five students, is paired with a technical faculty advisor.
This past spring, students worked on over 200 group freshman design projects within a number of engineering themes, including:
- Biomedical Applications
- Clean Energy
- Game and Mobile App Design
