Graduate Student Organizations

CBEGSA (Chemical & Biological Engineering Graduate Student Association)

CBEGSA facilitates the realization of that environment that is conducive to research and learning activity.  To this end, CBEGSA sponsors graduate-student-initiated social events, discussions, and seminars that promote interactions between graduate students, staff, faculty and other visiting researchers and define the research direction and working atmosphere here at Drexel's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.  For more information, visit the CBEGSA website.

 

DIG Forum (Drexel Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Graduate Forum)

DIG Forum is the graduate student body of IEEE, the largest technical professional society, at Drexel University. EGA (Engineering Graduate Association)

EGA works on behalf of engineering graduate students to provide informational and social activities which include seminars, panel discussions, workshops and intramural sports. For more information, please visit the EGA website.

 

GSA (Graduate Student Association)

GSA advocates the interests and addresses concerns of graduate students at Drexel University; strives to enhance graduate student life at the university in all aspects, from academic to campus security; and provides a formal means of communication between graduate students and the university community.  For more information, visit the GSA website.

 

MAGNET (Materials Engineering Graduate Student Network)

MAGNET is empowered to work on behalf of the Materials Engineering graduate students to represent their interests in departmental functioning, needs and general welfare.  MAGNET is a voluntary organization whose efforts to provide a good social environment and foster intradepartmental associations is dependent on graduate student participation and suggestions.  For more information, visit the MAGNET website.

 

Material Advantage Student Program

Material Advantage Student Program is a single, low-cost membership providing access to four of the preeminent societies involved in Materials Engineering research: The American Ceramic Society (ACerS), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), ASM International and The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS).  For more information, visit the Material Advantage website.

 

MEGA (Mechanical Engineering Graduate Association)

MRS (Materials Research Society)

MRS promotes interdisciplinary basic research on materials of technological importance as quintessential of 21st century research.
