Entertainment Engineering Minor

Digital technologies have revolutionized the world of entertainment and created a new field combining the foundations of electrical engineering with entertainment media. The Entertainment Engineering minor is open to all Drexel students and is designed to provide students throughout the university with the technical literacy to use, as well as develop, new tools for digital content creation and manipulation for entertainment applications. There are six (6) required courses and two (2) elective courses for a total of 24 credits for the minor. Undergraduate students can declare this minor beginning in Fall 2012.

The required prerequisite for this minor is Math 122 (Calculus II) or an equivalent course. CE and EE majors must substitute ECES 302 Transform Methods & Filtering for the ECES 201 requirement.
