STEM Diversity Day

Friday, March 14, 2014

4:00 PM-7:00 PM

The event “STEM Diversity Day 2014” is a one day event that would give the opportunity for students from colleges, junior colleges, and high schools in the Philadelphia area to be introduced to the discipline of engineering and other STEM fields.

This event will give students the opportunity to hear from engineering professionals, talk to students about research opportunities or any questions regarding the engineering discipline, and participate in a hands-on engineering competition. All attendees will also be provided a light dinner.

The event atmosphere will be semi-formal, but also relaxed and fun with competitions, research tables, and an open ended Q&A session.

This event hopes to show students the limitless possibilities that exist in engineering and encourage them to pursue a STEM career.
