Philadelphia City Council Honors Captain Christopher Ferguson

December 3, 2009 Captain Christopher J. Ferguson '84 (MEM), Hon. '09, commander of NASA's STS-126 Endeavour and STS-115 Atlantis space shuttles, will be honored by Philadelphia City Council today, December 3, 2009 at a ceremony at 10 a.m. at Philadelphia City Hall, room 400 (City Council Chambers). Councilman Frank Rizzo will present a resolution recognizing and honoring Ferguson.

Chris received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Drexel.  In addition to his 2009 Drexel honorary degree, he was also the University's 2009 Engineer of the Year. For more about Chris' accomplishments, please visit the NASA website.
