The U.S. News Best Engineering Schools methodology weighs factors
including research activity, faculty resources, student selectivity, and
assessments by peers and recruiters. The rankings are based on
statistical surveys of more than 220 engineering schools that grant
doctoral degrees. Drexel Engineering's ranking improvements reflect its
strong performance across these various metrics.
"Drexel engineers are answering the call to help solve pressing societal
problems through research, innovation and collaboration," Dandekar said.
"These rankings confirm that our graduate programs are on the right
track. With a focus on real-world, experiential learning, we're
empowering the next generation of engineering leaders."
