The Shanghai Ranking lists Drexel University’s materials science and engineering program as #10 in the U.S. and #39 in the world for their 2023 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects.
Considered to be one of the most influential university ranking systems, the Shanghai Ranking lists 1,900 universities from 5,000 evaluated across the globe. Program performance is measured by a variety of indicators including international collaborations, international academic awards, and research output, quality, and influence.
This rating comes on the heels of U.S. News and World Report ranking Drexel University's materials program as #9 in the U.S. and #29 in the world in their 2023 Best Global University Rankings.
