The Drexel Engineering Graduate Program was once again ranked in the top 40 percent in the nation by US News & World Report in its annual Best Graduate Schools/Engineering list. Drexel Engineering’s ranking at No. 79 overall in the list places the college at No. 29 among private universities with an R1 Carnegie Research Classification.
Among individual programs, Drexel was regularly included among the best by U.S. News. Each program categorized under the publication’s “specialties” placed in the top half of their respective categories. Mechanical engineering and civil engineering each climbed six spots from 2019, to 59 and 40, respectively. Drexel was also ranked 35 in Material Engineering, 45 for Environmental Engineering, 52 for Chemical Engineering, and 66 for both Electrical and Computer Engineering.
