Distinguished University and Charles T. and Ruth M. Bach Professor Yury Gogotsi has been elected as Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences (EurASc).
Akin to a membership in the National Academies, EurASc exists as an “independent international association of distinguished scholars that aims to recognize and elect to its membership the best European scientists with a vision for Europe as a whole, transcending national borders, and with the aims of strengthening European science and scientific cooperation.”
Gogotsi was nominated for his “unique and innovative research work in the field of nanostructured materials for energy storage.”
