ECE PhD Student Dongen Zhou Wins Teaching Assistant Excellence Award

dongen-bradley-zhouECE Ph.D. student Dongen Bradley Zhou has been awarded the 2019 Teaching Assistant Excellence Award by Drexel University. Selected by the university-wide Teaching Assistant Excellence Committee, the recognition comes with a monetary prize of $100.

According to the awarding committee, "Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards are presented to graduate students who serve as Teaching Assistants (TAs) are who exhibit exemplary commitment to student learning through reflective teaching practices, innovative teaching methods, academic support, leadership and a commitment to their professional growth and development as an educator." To qualify, students must have taught at least one course within the last academic year; Brad has served as a TA in every quarter of the last period for our friends in the Engineering Technology Department.

Brad and others receiving graduate student awards were recognized at Drexel's annual Graduate Student Day, held on May 30th, 2019.
