Sponsored Research:
Prof. Kenneth Lau, CBE, was awarded a one-year $100,000 sponsored research award on 12/21/2018. Funded by W.L. Gore & Associates, the project, titled “Initiated Chemical Vapor Deposition (iCVD) of Polymers for Surface Engineering of Porous Materials,” aims to apply solvent-free CVD techniques for growing ultrathin polymer films within 3D porous substrates to deliver the requisite surface chemistry and properties.
