Dr. Steven Weber, Professor and Interim Department Head for Drexel's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, was recently featured on the YesCollege Podcast (the full episode is available at the link or on iTunes). Dr. Weber, who also serves as director of Drexel's Isaac L. Auerbach Cybersecurity Institute, was joined by the president of Drexel's CyberDragons organization, Colbert Zhu.
Dr. Weber and Colbert discussed the growing field of cybersecurity, and the market demand for highly-skilled engineers and computer scientists that can respond and preempt cyber threats to crucial institutions and infrastructure grids. Other topics covered during the interview include forecasting the cybersecurity field over the next decade, and job prospects for graduates with cybersecurity degrees, including Drexel's MS in Cybersecurity degree.
