Dr. Youngmoo Kim to Serve as Judge of Third Annual Hackathon at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Dr. Youngmoo Kim, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will service as a judge for the third annual Hackathon at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The objective of the hackathon is for individual participants or teams to create new, technology-infused gallery experiences for the museum.

A kick-off event will be held at the museum on Wednesday, April 4; every following Wednesday will have office hours for participants to visit the museum and meet with expert advisors for feedback.

The closing event will be held on Friday, May 25, where the judges will announce the winner. The winning individual or team will then be able to present their app to museum guests. Runners-up will also be able to showcase their work for a chance to earn the People's Choice Award.

Drexel students interested in participating should visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art website for more information about the event and instructions on how to register.
