Dr. Ioannis Savidis, assistant professor in Drexel University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, has been recognized as the 2018 IEEE Philadelphia Section's Delaware Valley Electrical Engineer of the Year. This award is given to early-career engineers who have made considerable contributions to their field and demonstrated a commitment to their profession and to the community around them.
The award was presented to Dr. Savidis at the annual IEEE Philadelphia Sections's Awards Banquet, held at the Union League in Center City Philadelphia in April 2018.
