Dr. Bahram Nabet has been invited to give a session keynote at the SPIE Defense and Security conference. The conference is scheduled for April 15-19, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Nabet's session keynote address, "Opto-Plasmonic Devices: Controlling light with electrons," was selected by the SPIE DSS18 Micro-Nanotechnology Sensors, Systems, and Applications Conference committee. The talk will be held within the session organized by Prof. Saif Islam of the University of California-Davis, titled "Micro/nano-structures for enhanced control of light-matter interactions for sensing, detection, computing and communication microsystems."
SPIE, the Society of Photographic Instrumentation Engineers, is an internationally-renowned society of scientists interested in light-based research and technologies, with more than 260,000 members worldwide. The objective of the SPIE Defense and Security conference is to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration on nanotechnologies for defense and space applications.
