Dr. Jason Baxter was awarded an NSF grant for his research titled, "Collaborative Research: Directing Charge and Energy Flow in Discrete Nanocrystal Dendrimer (NCD) Hybrids and in their Assemblies.” The NCD platform has potential for broad impact across many fields and applications, including solar cells, solid state lighting and display technology, biological imaging, and photocatalytic fuel production and chemical synthesis.
Drexel University will receive $216,250 during the period of July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2020. This is a collaborative award with Professor Christopher Murray, University of Pennsylvania, Departments of Chemistry and Materials Science and Engineering.
