Dr. Ranjita Bose, a former Ph.D. student of Prof. Ken Lau, has been accepted as a tenure track assistant professor in the University of Groningen, Netherlands. In June 2017, she will join the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the Department of Product Technology. Ranjita is currently a postdoc at Delft University of Technology in the novel aerospace materials group in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. Her research interests are vapor deposition of polymer thin films and coatings, rheology, structure-property relationships, and studying physical phenomena such as self-healing.
