Ph.D. Alumna, Dr. Eleanor Small, was recently highlighted in a Johnson & Johnson article for International Women’s Day titled, “7 Women Who Are Helping to Change the World for Women.”
The author of the “Inspiring a Passion for Science in Girls” spotlight writes about Ellie’s passion for mentoring young women. Ellie nurtures their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through creating hands-on activities which bring scientific concepts to life. She got her start through Drexel’s GK-12 Fellowship program, and now leads the Johnson and Johnson Consumer’s Women in Science and Engineering program, which she has volunteered with since 2013.
