PhD student Joshua Young (advisors: James Rondinelli and Steven May) is one of 10 students to receive an American Physical Society (APS) Division of Materials Physics 2016 Ovshinsky Student Travel Award.
The $500 awards were established to enhance students’ research careers by providing funding to attend the APS March Meeting sessions, which are sponsored by the Division of Materials Physics. Students are selected based on merit by a committee consisting of the Executive Committee of the Division of Materials Physics.
The awards were presented at a reception at the 2016 APS March Meeting on March 15, 2016.
