For the second year in a row, Distinguished University and Trustee Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Director of the AJ Drexel Nanomaterials Institute Yury Gogotsi has been selected as a 2015 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher.
Gogotsi is one of four researchers from Drexel included on the list and one of 130 materials science researchers worldwide.
Researchers earning the distinction generated “the greatest numbers of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators℠ as Highly Cited Papers—ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact.”
As a result of this honor, Gogotsi was also listed in the 2015 World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds.
