John Roebling Professor of Infrastructure Studies Emin Aktan, PhD, along with Professor Franklin Moon from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Rutgers University, have been selected to receive the 2016 Charles Pankow Award for Innovation by the American Society of Civil Engineering for their project entitled “Targeted Hits to Measure Performance Responses (TMMPR).” The award, which consists of a crystal trophy, will be presented during the Outstanding Projects and Leaders (OPAL) Gala on March 16, 2017, in Arlington, Virginia.
