Drexel Materials students made a clean sweep of poster and scholarship awards at the ASM International Philadelphia Liberty Bell Chapter’s 15th annual C.F. "Chuck" Burns Graduate Student Poster Contest on April 21, 2016.
The PhD student poster contest winners, who also gave oral presentations on their work, are:
1st Place ($500): Mallory Clites (advisor: Ekaterina Pomerantseva)
2nd Place ($300): Bryan Byles (advisor: Ekaterina Pomerantseva)
3rd Place ($200): Katie Van Aken (advisor: Yury Gogotsi)

Additionally, three Drexel Materials undergraduate students, out of a pool of 11 applicants, were awarded $1,500 scholarships at the event:
