Senior design projects advised by teaching professor Dr. Christopher Peters for the 2012-2013 academic year were featured in MathWorks' April Newsletter. MathWorks is the maker of MATLAB, a software package used extensively in the College of Engineering.
The article highlighted the use of MATLAB in Drexel's engineering curriculum from freshman year to the capstone design project in senior year. Projects featured were the radiation detecting unmanned aerial vehicle and the nuclear reactor simulator, both of which were inspired by the nuclear engineering minor.
