The Delaware Valley Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers held their annual awards banquet at the University of Pennsylvania on April 10, 2013. An outstanding senior, junior, and sophomore student from each of five area universities were honored. Honors were primarily based on GPA, with additional consideration for professional activities and involvement in AIChE.

Rishon Benjamin - Outstanding Sophomore (Pre-Junior)
Anjli Patel - Othmer Sophomore Award
Additionally, Zeisberg Awards were given for best senior design report among all participating schools (Drexel, UPenn, Rowan, Widener, Villanova). The senior design team of Colton Bower, Daniel Davis, Anirban Ghosh, and Jahnavi Deshmukh won for their project titled, "Non-Thermal Recovery of Metals from Electronic Waste".
