Anasori research image "Mg Lava." At MS&T 2011, held October 16 - 21 in Columbus, OH, Anasori won the poster contest at the Acta Materialia Gold Medal Symposium hono ring Dr. Jagdish Narayan, and took 2nd Place in the American Ceramic Society's Scanning Electron Microscopy Ceramographic Exhibit. Two of his metallographic presentations won awards at the 2012 International Metallographic Society's International Metallographic Contest held in conjunction with their annual meeting July 29 - August 2 in Phoenix, AZ. Anasori won first place in "Class 4 Scanning Electron Microscopy" for his entry "Kinking Deformation of a Ternary Carbide in High Temperature Creep in Air" and third place in "Class 11 Digital Microscopy Artistic" for his entry "Mg Lava."
