Ph.D. Student Marjorie Austero Receives Philadelphia Institute of Food Technologists Scholarship

For the third year in a row, Ph.D. student Marjorie Austero (advisor: Caroline Schauer) is a recipient of a Philadelphia Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Scholarship in the amount of $1,500.00. 

The scholarship exists to encourage the study of food science and technology and related fields for students based in the Philadelphia area.  Marjorie received the award at the Philadelphia Regional Section meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
