ArkemaM.S. alumnus Sean Stabler (2011) and Business Development Engineer for Arkema has been selected to oversee the development of new applications of Arkema's product, Kynar® PVDF, into broader areas of water management.
In addition to current uses in the pharmaceutical industry, water purification, and waste water management, the product will be expanded to be used in "water filtration membranes, piping, pumps and various other chemical handling components often associated with cleaning compounds, such as chlorine, bromine, peroxide, ozone and acid combinations," according to an article in waterandwastewater.com.
