Senior Alexandra Bartolomeo Receives Engineer's Week Student Paper Award

BartolomeoCBE Senior Alexandra Bartolomeo was selected as a recipient of the college student papers contest and will be awarded from the Delaware Valley Engineers Week Council. The paper, written for Professor Gerry Maffia's Mass Transfer class, is titled "Effects of Varying Key Parameters on Glucose Intake". Bartolomeo is a BS/MS student currently working in Dr. Steven Wrenn's Biological Colloids lab.

"National Engineers Week was established in 1951 to help increase public understanding of the engineering profession. In the Delaware Valley, Engineers Week programs have been held since 1953. The programs are sponsored by a collation of engineering societies, government agencies, universities and major corporations representing thousands of engineers."
