Hasti Majidi and Borirak Opasanont both won awards for best posters in their sessions at the Materials Research Society Spring Meeting 2012 in San Francisco. Both Hasti and Borirak are PhD students in Prof. Baxter's group. Hasti's poster titled "In Situ Annealing of CdSe-Coated ZnO Nanowires for Extremely Thin Absorber Solar Cells" won an award for excellent poster in Symposium CCC: Local Probing Techniques and In-Situ Measurements in Materials Science. Borirak's poster titled "Combinatorial Cd1-xZnxS Thin Films for Solar Cells Deposited with a Continuous Flow Microreactor" won an award for excellent poster in Symposium BB: Solution Synthesis of Inorganic Films and Nanostructured Materials.
