Chemical and Biological Engineering
Chemical Engineers work in chemical process industries, biotechnology, design and construction, electronics, advanced materials, environmental, safety, and health, as well as many other industries. Chemical Engineering combines mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering to solve a wide range of industrial problems in a safe and economic fashion. Drexel’s Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) has a variety of programs to choose from, including a new biological concentration option implemented to satisfy the recent and rapid growing interest of students and employers for training in the processing of biological compounds.
