Conditions for the Travel Program

The travel tuition reduction program applies to full-time freshman applicants and full-time transfer applicants for on-campus programs who traveled directly to Drexel University’s University City or Center City Campuses from a distance of 150 miles or greater (determined by student's official mailing address), to attend an Admissions event or daily visit. Students are eligible to apply for this program once they have confirmed their enrollment to the University. Eligible expenses include economy travel by train, plane, bus, and car (mileage at the current University reimbursement rate), as well as hotel cost for one night (standard room only, miscellaneous fees and meals are not included). The total travel expenses for the student, not to exceed $500.00, will be deducted from the student’s first tuition bill. The reduction is applicable to one visit only and student’s travel expenses only. Students who receive full-tuition scholarships are ineligible.
