Westphal College of Media Arts & Design

The Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design offers professionally oriented programs that prepare students to begin or enhance careers in the design, media, and non-profits arts sectors. Class sizes are kept small, and students are exposed to their professions through exchanges with a full-time faculty of talented industry practitioners and part-time instructors drawn from their fields. Two qualities define our graduate programs: an emphasis on experiential learning through studio instructions and a focus on the real world challenges of professional practice.

Specialized facilities include design studios and computer laboratories, television studios and station, art gallery, the Historic Costume Collection, and Mandell Theater.
