Undergraduate ECE students at their third, fourth and fifth years are advised by the ECE Undergraduate Advising Office.
First and second year students are advised by the College of Engineering Undergraduate Advising Center.
We encourage students to discuss their study plans with staff members at the Advising Office at least once a year. Students in their last year of undergraduate studies must meet with members of the staff during the Fall term in order to verify that course requirements for graduation can be met by the end of the Spring term. The staff can assist with:
- Plans of study
- Adding and dropping of courses
- Special needs
- Accelerated programs
- Opportunities for undergraduate research
- Career development
- Plans for graduate schools
- Research opportunities
