Parents and Financial Information

All financial information directly related to your student record is protected under the university's adherence to FERPA Policy. It is important to remember that all eBills and financial aid (with the exception of a Parent PLUS Loan or Private Education Loan) are solely in your name, which means that no other individuals, including parents, spouses, legal guardians or other relatives have an inherent right to this information. Drexel Central will only discuss or share financial information with:

  • The student (after confirmation of identity)
  • Parents listed on the current FAFSA (for dependent undergraduate students only)
  • The parent who has taken out a Parent PLUS Loan (only the PLUS Loan information will be discussed if the parent is not on the FAFSA or a FERPA waiver has not been filed for the parent)

Financial information includes:

  • Financial aid awards
  • Specific cost of attendance information
  • Information reported on FAFSA
  • Status or details of financial aid requirements
  • Charges on account or specific billing information
  • Other specific financial information related to financial aid or billing
