Financial Planning Assistance
Having a comprehensive plan in place for your finances at the start of each academic year is important. Drexel Central Student Service Representatives are able to assist you with these plans in-person at any of the Drexel Central locations.
It is recommended that you take the following steps when planning:
- Review your financial aid award letter in detail and determine how much your payment for direct costs to the university will be.
- Make sure you have applied for all scholarships and grants available to you before considering using a loan.
- Consider using the Tuition Management Payment Plan before using a loan to cover your outstanding balance. If you cannot afford to pay your entire balance out-of-pocket using the payment plan, determine how much in monthly payments you could make using the financing calculator, so as to reduce the amount of a loan you need.
- Create a monthly budget for yourself to determine what your expenses will be. This will help you determine what costs are necessary and what costs aren't so that you can reduce or eliminate expenses.
