Academic Opportunities Fair on January 23

Posted on December 7, 2017

Make the most of your undergraduate education by joining us for the Winter 2018 Academic Opportunities Fair on January 23 from 1 to 4 p.m.

This fair aims to connect you to various resources across the University that will help you enhance your current academic program with supplemental academic experiences, opportunities, and exciting co-curricular options. These resources can help complement your future academic trajectory by using your interests and abilities to best fit your needs for a program.

You'll be able to explore your options and learn more about:

  • The breadth of majors and minors that Drexel offers — This includes helping you determine how your choices fit into your schedule, including minors and certificates. We can also clarify your current program requirements and provide potential career pathways you could take. Additionally, if you are thinking about a different major, you can learn the requirements for the new program and how credits you have already earned apply.
  • Experiential programs including study abroad, civic engagement, research, and co-curricular activities — This includes the ways in which these programs can increase your interdisciplinary learning and experiential practice.
  • Services and organizations to support you on your academic journey — This includes offices such as the Center for Learning and Academic Success Services (CLASS), who are here to provide you with support in any academic areas that you feel may require more work.

Faculty and staff representatives from various academic areas and support services will be available at the fair. Stop by Behrakis Grand Hall in the Creese Student Center on January 23 and enjoy some light refreshments while getting a taste of how Drexel can help you achieve your long-term goals.
