Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health will be hosting its 1st Annual Public Health Career Fair! Sponsored by Student Services, this fair is catered to helping our 2nd-year Public Health students make connections with employers and establish themselves professionally while obtaining the potential to secure a job pending their graduation in June. Practicum/Experiential Learning

First-Year Practicum

The Practicum at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health is a required practical experience for first-year MPH students. This experience helps our students develop basic skills in public health and implement those skills through a practice experience relevant to the areas of specialization. The Practicum is composed of a supervised, hands-on public health experience that adds up to 120 hours within public health practice settings. The practical experience should give our students further grounding in the MPH Core Competencies from the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).
