Tom Hipper and Jill Nash-Arot Present Posters at the 2016 Preparedness Summit On April 21, 2016, CPHRC Program Manager, Tom Hipper, and Public Health Planner, Jill Nash-Arot, presented two posters at the annual Preparedness Summit hosted by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) in Dallas, TX. One of the posters (co-authored by CPHRC director, Dr. Esther Chernak) promoted the official launch of CPHRC's Social Media Message Library, while describing its features, usability, and message development process. The other poster (co-authored by Dr. Esther Chernak and Dornsife School of Public Health faculty members, Dr. Jonathan Purtle and Dr. Robert Field) displayed research from a study currently in progress on the practice of syndromic surveillance within state and local health departments in the U.S. For more information on either of these projects please contact Tom Hipper.
