An article in the National Post (Canada) on Feb. 21 about the on-the-job hazards of a female paramedic cited a study tracking injury prevalence among paramedics conducted by the Firefighter Injury Research & Safety Trends (FIRST) program, which is directed by Jennifer Taylor, PhD, MPH, CPPS, associate professor of Environmental and Occupational Health in the Dornsife School of Public Health.
