Office of Global Health

SPH Student in Uganda

The Office of Global Health at the Dornsife School of Public Health was created to provide opportunities for all public health students to gain rich and meaningful experiences working on health issues that transcend national boundaries or that may be influenced by circumstances or experiences in other countries. The initiative extends the SPH’s reach through community-based, online and local and international programs. It bolsters Drexel University's historical strength in experiential learning and community collaborative projects.

Students can take advantage of learning opportunities, academic and public health practice partnerships, and field experiences to address global public health issues in targeted regions, such as Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean Islands and also underserved communities within the United States.

Currently, students and alumni from the Dornsife School of Public Health are engaged in global public health initiatives across the globe.
