Getting a New Roommate

Roommate information can be found in MyHousing. If you are receiving a new roommate or suitemate for the next term, it is important that you prepare your bedroom/suite prior to the end of the term. If you are not scheduled to have a roommate for the following term at this time, it is possible that you may be assigned one during the break. Prior to leaving for break it is important that you remove all of your belongings from the vacant areas of the room.

Looking Up Roommate Information in MyHousing

To find out if you are getting a new roommate you should log into MyHousing and click on the application for this academic year. You will be taken to or should click on the "Status" page. This page will provide information about your current application and assignment including your Room Reservation Details and Occupancy Information.

How to Check for New Roommate

Under Occupancy Information you will see a User ID and dates of occupancy for each academic term. In the above example you can see that 212A-1 was vacant for Winter 2014 Quarter (Dec-15-13 - Mar-22-14). You can see that tst12, brb15, and lol13 all lived there for Winter 2014 and will continue to live there for Spring 2014. The resident abc14 is new for Spring 2014.  The current residents can click on "View Profile" for the new resident's full name. The Drexel User ID is also a student's email address - just add @drexel.edu to the end to contact your future roommate.
