Winter Break

Winter Break Registration Required for most students

All students who do not have a Winter 2013 assignment must check-out of their Fall 2012 assignment and fully move-out by Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10 a.m.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Winter Break Housing, student must:

•Have a Fall 2012 Housing Assignment
•Have a Winter 2013 Housing Assignment
•Register for Winter Break Housing via the below by Friday, December 14, 2012
University City Campus residence halls will remain open for the Winter Break for all students who have registered for Term Break Housing. There is no fee for Term Break Housing.

Those students eligible for Winter Break Housing must register via the below form by Friday, December 14, 2012 at 12 p.m., except those living in Greek Housing and graduate students residing in Stiles Hall.

Only those students who are registered for Winter Break will have card access to their assigned residence hall during the Break Period.

Code of Conduct and Policies

Guests: There will be no guest privileges during the Winter break. Any student needing an exemption must e-mail their Resident Director by 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 15.

All students residing on campus are expected to abide by the Drexel University code of conduct, available in the Student Handbook.

During this low-occupancy period, University Housing and the Residential Living Office urge all students, as always, to be mindful of their environment and always lock their doors while not in their room!

Facilities Notice

The Winter Break period is an optimal time for University Facilities to inspect and repair areas of our residence halls. As always, University Housing will provide as much notice as possible if entrance to residence hall rooms is required!

Housing Cancelations

A student who cancels their Winter 2013 housing between Saturday, December 15, 2012 and Saturday, January 5, 2013, must immediately vacate their assignment and are subject to a $30 per night fee for each night used.
